Japan’s POP Culture grips Penang in a fervour of excitement as Penang plays host to Anime Matsuri for the second time!
The inaugural Penang Anime Matsuri – Magical Summer, PAM2016, is back this year and will blast its way onto the shores of Penang in what promises to be a whirlwind of fun and gripping excitement, showcasing Anime, all-new Akiba Town, Games (ACG), Japanese Food Street, fan-made (doujin) merchandise at Creator’s Market and Cosplay. Here’s also your chance to listen to top Anime songs by (Anisong) artistes live in an outdoor concert and enjoy the music by world-renowned Anisong DJs.
Special and Performing Guests will include :-
  • pop sensation LiSA, with hits like “Oath Sign” and  “Crossing Field”
  • GARNiDELiA – Maria (Vocalist) and Toku (Music Composer)
  • DJ YURiA
  • Motsu x DJ Kaya
A team of Celebrity Cosplayers will be on board to conduct cosplay workshops :-          Angie (Malaysia), Ely (Taiwan), Liui (The Philippines), Sansin (South Korea), Siutao (Hong Kong), Tomia (South Korea) and Ying Tze (Malaysia).
