Among the dishes that you should give them a try when visiting Maple Palace Restaurant are BBQ Roasted Spanish Iberico Black Pig Spare Rib, Fresh Crab Mee Hoon Soup in hot clay pot, Spanish Lamb Leg with Mixed Herb and Whole Lobster Thermidor.
Meanwhile, their Fresh Water Prawn Curry with Mantou, according to celebrity food critic and writer C.K. Lam, is another exciting dish one should not miss. “The fresh prawns stand up beautifully to the divine combination of Indian spices and the lady’s fingers made a perfect accompaniment to this spicy dish. You can have it with deep-fried mantou or white rice,” said Lam.

Never Enough of Kimberley Street

Welcome to the Streets of George Town. Every issue, we bring you on a vicarious tour of the heritage trails of Penang highlighting its history, attractions and more! The road was created in the late 19th century and was populated by Teochew immigrants from the Swatow Province, who made bihun (rice noodles) and mee suah (vermicelli), drying them in the open. Until today, this...
